New to the forum...here is my current road bike:

Obviously not as light as it could be, but it's still race legal at 6.8kg. Build is:

2010 Tarmac Pro SL
Full SRAM Red group
Thomson stem and post
3T Rotundo Pro bars
Specialized Romin SL saddle
c-4 hubs (with c-4 skewers) laced to Edge 45 clinchers
Yokozuna Reaction cables/housing
Fizik tape

Just a lowly Elite...like I said, much room for weight reduction haha.

I like my bike dirty :D Here it is clean, and before the Red brakes:

I just swapped the Thomson X2 stem for a 3T stem with less drop so that I can lose some steerer. Pictures coming...

too bad on the thomson stem, I really liked the look of it on your bike, the somewhat tapered effect of the stem is nice. The bike is hot nonetheless.

Yeah I love Thomson components...I have them on all of my bikes. I may have a new bike in the works that needs the 3T for fit reasons... 8)

That bike is gorgeous. I bet you had to try to get it up to to 6.8. Well done.

I actually got lucky hitting the UCI weight req. I used to have Easton EC90 SLX3 drops and a masterpiece post...those sold off for one reason or another and I ended up with aluminum bars and the cheapo post. Resulted in a perfect weight when I upgraded my FD, brakes and cables/housing.

Thanks micky!

I ended up cleaning up pretty well for Christmas this year so this frameset is now for sale. I'm new here and don't have enough posts to put it in the classifieds, but I'll post it when I can.
