2010 TCR Advanced SL

This bike has been a long time in the making. I am a mtber at heart, but I do most of my training on the road and I was getting quite burnt out on my old bike. I have ridden a lot of really nice road bikes lately and this one definitely is the winner of the bunch. I am deciding on a final stem, so I haven't cut the steerer down all the way yet.
Frame/fork - tcr advanced sl isp size m/l
bars - deda zero100 44cm white
stem - pro plt 120 ( will probably put a deda z100sc on it)
tape - fizik
groupset - red, x10sl chain
pedals - rxs carbon
wheelset - ea90slx, kcnc skewers
tires - veloflex black
saddle - antares carbon
cages - arundel dave o matte
Last time I weighed it, it had the easton skewers and a 1070 cassette and it was 15lbs7oz, so it should be around 15lb1oz now according to my gram scale.

How do you like the wheels? I ordered an ea90 tt for training and it is not here yet.
And the Time pedal? Need to choose a new pedal and was considering Time or Look Max 2.

Really nice build - not usually a fan of Giant's but yours is really well done and considered.
One option for the future if you were looking to lose some weight without changing the look would be a set of Dura Ace 7850 carbon laminate wheels - very similar colour scheme to your Easton's but I suspect quite a bit lighter

-Easton SLX claimed weight is 1398g
-Sram Red cranks (53/39) claimed is 760g (my compact version is verified @ 630g and 130g for truvative BB)
-rxs carbon is claimed 235g (pair)
none of which are considerably heavy.
I think his saddle is heavy. I can't tell what cassette he has on. Not sure about sram red brakes.
My Cervelo Aluminum in size 54 w/ Sram Red, Ultegra 12-25, KMC X10SL, Chris King hubs, Open Pros, SLR flow saddle, Easton EC90 SLX, DEDA zero100 stem, Eggbeater SL pedals came in at 15.5lbs. My frame is a boat anchor compared to this giant one.
Damn... that is such a sweet build though. I saved the 2nd picture as my desktop wall paper.

I reckon your scales are out. Those wheels are a good 150g lighter than my Ksyrium Elites - I have DA7800 with 7900 Crank which would be a good 100 -200g - I think the bars are close to the same as my Ritchey Superlogics which weigh 193g - so your bike should weigh in at closer to 6.6kg or less from what I can work out. You didn't use the lead pedal stabilizers did you?

thanks for the props. We have a set of the 7850 c24 @ the shop and they were heavier than the eastons, plus I am not a fan of the spokes. I weighed every single piece of this build, but I have it hand written which I can verify later tonight. The saddle is around 140g if I remember correctly. I am using an 11-25 red cassette. I think the pedals came in around 219g or something close for the pair. As for the bars, I was a bit let down on their weight, which is right around 280g, a far cry from the 240 (iirc) they claim. I love the shape of them so much that I was willing to let that go however. I am slightly suspect of the scale, (its the park hanging scale) as I have had the same heavy bike discussion with friends and customers in the past.

That bar shape looks very similar to the Easton EC90 SLX3. For which is on closeout sale at JensonUSA for 98 USD!!! One of the best deals of the century. Replacing that bar and finding a nice light stem (New Ultimate, ControlTech, Syntace F109)) will yield you a lighter cockpit.
I think your bike should be lighter than your posted weight. Unless this is a size 63cm frame or something huge like that and the frame weighs like 2000g + fork. Proportionally it looks like it a size large or 58cm.

Yea, the easton bars were high on my list, but something about the dedas do it for me. It is something to consider. I found my weight list, nothing exotic, but aside from the cockpit, nothing is really shouting "heavy!" at me.
