Hi just wanted to introduce myself and see what you think of my build (pics posted tonight), I use it mainly for racing and training when the weather is good

Got the whole lot on the cheap through favours and some crafty dealing and price matching from different stores. Total cost was £3k NO IDEA WHAT IT WEIGHS??? Any ideas?

Frame: Bianchi 928sl - size 57cm
Wheels: Easton EA90 slx
Tires: Vittoria Evo Corsa
BB: SRAM Ceramic Black Box
Cranks: SRAM Red (53/39)
Pedals: Speedplay Zero
Chain: SRAM Red (hollow pin)
Casette: SRAM Red (11-28)
Shifters/Levers: SRAM Red
Rear Mech: SRAM Red
Front Mech: SRAM Red
Brakes: SRAM Red
Brake Cables: Alligator iLink
Gear Cables: Alligator iLink
Saddle: Zoncolan Carbon FX
Stem: FSA OS99 CSI
Bars: FSA K-Force, shallow drop (420mm)
Bar Tape: Lizard Skins DSP
Bottle Cages: Elite Patao carbon x2

Was hoping to chop another bit of weight off it and have the following upgrades planned when money allows:

Mavic Cosmic Carbone Ultimate (white version)
Continental Competition tubs
KCNC jockey wheels

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for looking

D

First off ... I want pics!

Tubular wheels will save a bunch of weight.

Seat post perhaps ... you did not list one?

I was wondering why typed away but my "dumb" phone can be a pain sometimes.

I have a fondness for all things Bianchi; I am looking forward to pics.

Nice Bianchi but I would advise to put the chain on the biggest gear before taking a picture, it just looks nicer :)

In the overall look of this machine, I love the white top tube and seat stays. Nice bike!

As for the organe Aligator I-Links protector tube on the head tube, have you considered changing it out for something that doesn't look so out of place? Slice them off! I went with a set of no name protectors in black that are pre-slit, but haven't budged in hundreds of miles. Free at your local bike store I'm sure. The orange looks out of place on most bikes.
