NextRiot wrote:When you say you sanded and refinish those 50mm rims, what did you do to refinish them? Interested in your process.

Was it similar to what you did with the seatpost?

yes similar steps. although on the rims, i had to sand off most of the clear coat unlike the saddle and seatpost where i just 'matted' the gloss layer.
rims are actually 12k so sprayed black over, before spraying matte clear again.

right now, brake tracks of course doesnt look as good after the miles, now in the process of sanding and spraying it again but this time, will just mask off the sanded brake tracks.

Hey farm_lim,
Can you tell me what kind of paint stripper you used on the stem? I am thinking of doing that to my 3T ARX team stem.
Thanks!

No problem :)

Nice bike, but you should really get a black faceplate for the stem.

looking to further drop the 16mm headset cone spacer to around 5mm. can order a special cap (not in the website, but there is) from canyon, but costs eur120 shipped to asia.
so ill have this made by the local machine shop in t6 al, probably for just a song. next step will be how to anodize something this small, as there's none locally that does small parts.
will post pics when done.

What size frame is this? 52 or 54cm?

With the stem: after applying the stripping solution what did you scrape it off with? Did you have to do anything else to get a good finish?

Absolutely delicious!
If my Addict turns out half as good I'll be thrilled!
