Hi all - Ted asked me to post a few pics as it comes together, so here goes:

Image
BB/seattube showing cuts outs for internal Di2 wiring.

Image
Front derailleur hanger customised for Di2 - small 'slug' for the leverage screw to push against, and hole for the cable to exit.

Image
Seattube (custom butted/ovalised 4130) with various braze-ons.

Image
Special USB port for charging the internal battery - I machined the plastic blocks to enable it to be screwed in place inside the seattube.

Image
Port mounted in the frame - secured with two M3 screws. I'll put a gasket on the inside too, and there should be an external plastic cap coming.....

Absolutely stunning
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

I love this. Plug in your Blackberry or your Iphone and once they are done you plug in your bike. This is killer.

I have to tell you that working with Rob was amazing. When something is discussed with him and you think it will look one way, he just takes it to the next level. Amazing work.

Very Very cool. What made my day today was the announcement of Ui2 baby. I might just might return to ShimaNO on at least one bike.

A little shameless plugging for my frame builder...

Check out http://www.englishcycles.com/ and look at the "news" tab. There is some cool stuff going on there. I think every member of weight weenies appreciates innovation... especially when it comes from a small, independent company.

Nice work Rob and Ted. The idea has been kicked around for a while, but i think this is the first bike with a charging port for Di2.

 The seatstays looks so skinny compared to the seat tube.
