How is the mix of DA 7800 and Sram Red working?
The weight of the bike is with your lighter wheels I presume... What tires are you riding on?

You're right - the 7.5 (ish) is with the light wheels. The bars and post weighs like 'ell, but looks like a million IMHO. These tires are PRO3 Race.

Mix is working great, with no problems at all. My experience is, that you can do, whatever you want as long as RD/Brifters are the same brand (something about the indexing of the shifts). Other than that, you can just go crazy mixing and matching! I have a Record RD on my current TT bike, and that will probably be moved to this one, as the colors fit this one better - again IMHO

It should be the other way around, campagnolo, sram and shimano RD pull ratios are different. The FDs should be relatively interchangeable. I advise against using a campag RD with sram red.

Very nice ride. Can you tell us more about that wheelset? Never heard of it before.
