Just run the Dura Ace wheels. They are excellent quality and you will never have to worry about them. They are OK on weight and surprisingly aero. Then snag some of the new C35 Dura Ace when they hit the market.

Phil- start with 320, work your way to 800 and finish with 2000 grit. All wet.
I found a great finish with UV protection- no clear coat.
Estimate time- more than a few six packs of Fat Tire.

I think the Dura-Ace wheels would be a nice touch since you are running Dura-Ace but that touch just lacks something special.
I think maybe a nice custom built set of wheels in black would be better at this point.

Nice work CC, and you know what, Di2 is actually growing on me
I think that Dura Ace c35 would be the wheelset for this ride

On German Ebay you can get some Prototype Shimano Wheelsets from Team Gerolsteiner, they are sold by Mrs Holzer.
I think they would perfectly match the prototype character of your build.
They weigh about 1200g and aren't that expensive.

I would love some Dura Ace 35 but they are difficult to come by right now and probably big $.
I am working on a modification to eliminate the heavy (62gr) battery mount
and relocate the wiring harness.

E25s are out- I want something more aero and stiff.
Gold Knights Ventouxs are for Campy only ;(
Edge 45s or 303s are looking more appealing for aero/weight reasons.
More progress last night- down to 895 grams
Cutting the battery holder out saves 32 grams
inside of BB shell drilled for cables and modified wiring mount
gorgeous carbon weave
a little Radio Shack action and its almost ready to connect the battery
