If you haven't decided yet about the wheels, here it is a pic of Time + LW Ventoux:

I absolutely love the look of the Ventoux wheels, but they aren't aero & from what I have heard there is just nothing special about how they ride. Now a set of hand-built wheels can easily be lighter for less money & they will be more aero & have a better ride quality. Oh ya, they can have spokes replaced too.

Go with a set of Edge 45's & Extralight or Tune hubs. I'd choose a Mig 45 & Mag 150. That'd be just down right sexy.

Absolutely love the carbon weave under the paint - as a fan of 'naked' bikes, this one is going to take the biscuit!

Starbike delivers-
327 grams for 172.5 compact Claviculas
74 grams for BB cups
29 grams for SRAM 36T chainring

As for the wheels- The Eastons are out- they were sold. The LW Ventouxs are out for their lack of aero qualities and not replaceable spokes.

I am leaning heavily towards Edge 45s or AX 42s at the moment- light, aero, customizable for stiffness and replaceable spokes.

As for brakes its either 7900 or THM Fibula's if they are strong enough.

This is still going strong as one hell of a build. As for the brakes. I suppose you can go with the THM brakes. Nils has seen them already as his brother has a set on his weightweenie bike. Nils found these brakes very very impressive even more impressive than the latest Gravitas. I would go for it, especially since they are the lightest.
As for the wheels, AX Lightness is all you need, I can truly advise them to you. As you know I have the 24mm, although a set of High rims are very attractive I expect a low profile set would fit the Time better.

Perfect choice of cranks - for the wheelset, I'd go for rims that, like your cranks, match the beautiful carbon weave of the frameset that you've uncovered...

I would go with the EE brakes before the D/A brakes. Lighter & they work much better than the other weenie brakes.

I don't think it really matters what wheels you put on at this point, the bike is already super squirt material.
