Thanks! The bike has been evolving over the past few years as I try various components, I'm really happy with it now.

I've not ridden the bike with them on yet- been using the fixed trainer for the past few days:

@dammit: That is SO beautiful!

Custom paint?
And what's with the second cable housing?

Second cable housing is waiting for a Problem Solver 2:1 to arrive- both brake levers will then operate the front brake. I thought if I am going to have two levers they may as well both work!

It's been repainted by the previous owner- he had a friend with a body shop I believe.

Just put a few new parts on the Caad10... including a bunch of black components... Prologo Scratch Nack Hard Black, KMC x10sl DLC Black Chain, Praxis Semi-Compact Chainrings, and Jagwire Racer Black Cables and Housings.

Yeah I agree. Like this!

I wonder how much weight my SystemSix is giving away to an Evo frame of the same size?

Dammit, both your 'Dales are super nice. I especially like your S6. Lots of thought has gone into it. Probably looking at low 6's with that gear on an Evo though...

Yeah, that's about what I thought- half a kilo dropped in one go.

However, I've got no intention of swapping to an Evo, and will be sticking with the SystemSix for the foreseeable.

I weighed my 52cm System a few years back. I don't remember the exact number...but it was around the upper 900's. That was with the lower bearing...since I couldn't pop that out.

Lighter than my 54cm Cervelo S2. :hmm:
