Evo in progress.

Size 54 Evo Sram, sanded and matt clearcoated by myself, took ages, but very happy wkith result.
Just hated the green on the frame, this was not done to shave weight.
Weight without seatpost clamp, BB cable guide but WITH SRAM PF30 bottom bracket is 810 grams.
That should make frame 733 grams based on RIDE magazines weight of a SRAM PF30 BB.

Sorry for poor photos.

That is gorgeous. :up:

I have been planning to do something like this to a standard SuperSix when I can find one on the cheap in my midget size.

The latest incarnation of my System Six, built up as a crit bike for next year so all parts are cheap and wasy to replace. Wanted to try SRAM so bought everything secondhand from ebay and classified on several forums, the end result is this!!

I am still getting used to the double tap but love the shape of the hoods so am goiong to perservere for a bit longer, and am hoping it becomes second nature.

The photos were taken on my camera phone so apologies for the quality, when me and my ex split up she took the bloody camera!

Also my scales broke and I havent had a chance to take it to my lbs to weigh it yet, guesses are circa 7.5kg as is which considering it was all built for approx £900 I am pretty happy.

As things break I will upgrade to Force (or change all to Ultegra if I still dont get used to it soon), I also need to buy a decent set of race wheels, something like a 60mm front and a 80/90mm rear, obviously tubs!!

@JesseD

Love it! Always liked that SystemSix. Especially the crazy stem.

Road sram for the first time recently, coming from campagnolo. Loved the rear shifting, not so keen on the front.

Wasabi1 - I came from Campag as well but after my last group went caput, the jury is still out but like you I really like the positive shifting on the back, very campag like but the front has no real trim option in the little ring which I dont like!

Still I find the hoods really comfortable and after a week of riding in France only found I mis-shifted on the flats, going uphill I found it fine for some reason?

Plus I like the way it looks which is obviously the most important thing!

This is a kick ass bike i think, it would be perfect with some other shifters, but that is just a detail, wow what a build :thumbup:
