This "hole" has a similar function with that "hole"

The hole is the hole, there because it is, and naturally for all the reasons farbound mentioned.

The ride is brilliant, have about 120km on it so far, but after Xmas I need some more. Kms atm are split between it, the track solo bike, the track tandem and the MtB...

The stem was arranged through the local distributor. I sent it to him, and he to them.

loooks sweet! i have two comments, #1 being i had a bit of a issue with my thomson x2 creeking under high load, i even changed face plates, bolts, greases so i gave up on there stems, and there known to crack on the face plate a bit so keep a eye on it. #2 looks like you have a TON of set back, any reason why?

The setback is largely because of a femur/ tibia ratio of 1,22

A few with its sibling when at the track tuesday

Beautiful! The otherwise very ugly Flite looks superb superb superb on your Casati! It looks like Selle Italia has custom made a Flite for your Casati! The holes, the red droplet on white...

I think the pedals are on the track bike.

Are they no hills where you ride? Or is the wheelset for crits?

The pedals are on the track bike, I need another set as the normal track ones are on the (track) tandem.

There are very few hills here in Perth - though some of the people who have lived here longer than I disagree!

I didn't like the saddle by itself, looks ugly compared to the traditionally shaped Flite, but it goes so well with the bike

[quote="Cyco"]The setback is largely because of a femur/ tibia ratio of 1,22

And on top ,with the 'new' generation Flite the distance from the widest bit at the rear to the tip (and the front of the horizantal part of the rail) is 1 cm less than the old generation, thus creating a situation where people with long upper legs have to push the saddle back as far as possible.
(It caused me to have to replace my 25 mm setbach seatpost to one with 32 mm)
