Just picked up my SL 0
Size Medium, 7.1kg as you see it, will replace pedals with Dura ace once they arrive, I pulled these of my old bike. I will ditch the Frisby off the back wheel tomorrow, and swap out a couple of bits to get it under 7kg.
But other than that, my initial round the block ride was awesome, keen to take it out tomorrow.

Thank you, I have already remove the frisby and given it to the our pet dog First thing this morning before my ride. I couldn't believe that it would still be part of a bike of this standard. Any way stoked, I loved every moment.

Could anyone (BManX, I'm looking at you) hazard a(n educated) guess as to the weight of this frame:

Owing to Giant's habit of marketing frames with slight variations in material/logo fonts/nomenclature in their various sales territories it is hard to nail down exactly what this would be. The separate seat clamp is differs from a 2006/7 TCR, but the Decals and tubing shape seem more like the Japanese market TCR.

austke I love that bike. I ordered one back in September, but I got spooked on the actual deliver time frame, so I switched to a 2013 SL1 that I got in November. Will probably go to Di2 9070 after the race season. Your is the first I have seen, I like the blue, nice work to you.

Two questions, first I see you run the rear brake to the the right on the head tube. I have never seen that before, is that because you are running your levers reversed, with the left one operating the rear brake? Second the Giant spec on the bike called for Shimano's new internal Di2 battery, but I see you have the external one on the chain stay. Were you expecting the seat post mounted one? What did Giant have to say about that?

Its law in Australia to have the left shifter with rear brake, right hand front.
The 'handing' of brakes on bicycles in Australia is specified as in 2.14.2.1 above because a rider making a right hand turn from a centre position on a road (median line) is required under road traffic regulations to give a hand signal, which means having one hand off the h/bar. If the left hand brake lever operated the front brake there is an increased risk of locking the front wheel and spilling the rider (who is already in a destabilised position).
