Hi, I'm happy with my TCR advanced pro 0 now, I didn't have to do much, that was the plan, finished weight 6.65kg.

Stem slammed, decals removed from stem and bars, garmin fitted, cables shortened.

Saddle swapped for Fizik Antares 00.

Chain catcher fitted.

The paint was chipped on the bottom of the forks so I removed it from the lugs and polished the aluminium, swapped the skewers and saved a whopping 100g.
Image

Swapped the tyres for Conti gp and added Blackburn titanium cage, I doubt I'll be out on this bike for longer that 3 hours so one cage should be enough. Carbon cage would look better but these cages really work.

Great looking bike. Can you explain this part? Do you mean you removed the dropouts from the carbon fork legs? How on Earth did you do that?

Apologies, I didn't explain that too well, all I did was remove the paint from the dropouts and polish them, it matches the black and chrome of the group set quite well and they do chip quite easy with the wheel going back on.

I am stoked about seeing this pic. Looks fabulous btw. I went against my vow to never buy an ISP frame and pulled the trigger on this same one. I got a deal too good to pass up on a lightly used SL2 full DA9k. It will replace my beloved '11 model and will take me about 4 weeks to get it together and post pics. It won't be as pimped as yours though but I might see how light I can get it with some tubs.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing, might try that out.

Very nice build Canofale, I love the black on black.

What do you think of the Giant carbon wheels? They're on the market as take-offs but I'm curious about their braking (especially in the wet :) ) In the adverts they mention the heat resistance of the rims but that means little when they don't stop the bike.

Thanks, they're my first carbon wheels so I can't make a comparison and it's my summer bike, no braking in the rain as yet.

Bog standard bar the bar tape and Vittorias.

Aim to put a Prologo CPC on there, new cages and hopefully a new stem of some sort.

Braking in the wet is okay.
