New Weight Weenie... Mudguards!
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Im pretty happy about my SKS raceblades on my commuting road-bike. Typically put them on in the Autum and remove them in the spring (2x22km trips each day without mudguards are ok in summertime). They do however rub a bit on the frame.. So would'ent use em on a $5000 frame, but then again I would not use such a frame during the winter commute anyways..

I use SKS race bladze and I find them great, just taped up frame before fitting, you need to bend and shape the arms to get custom fit, but i have no rubbing on my Super six and run it all year round..... just a case of having a spare afternoon and taking your time to set up and fit and be careful moving bike not to knock them...
Iv never seen a bike look good with guards, but I think you can hardly see the crud ones which does appeal....
Iv added a bit of old tube to the front and rear on mine, front to keep my big feet dry when its really wet and rear to stop moaners.....
