"I am clearly not worthy of a lot of the other rigs on this board"...
You are worthy of owning/riding any bike.
Only difference between your bike and most other bikes on this board is that some of you components are older, thats all. Oh, and your bike looks better than some of the newer ones on here (^_^).

Quite some time has gone by, and my R3 remains my faithful ride.
Updates:
Campagnolo Record Red shifters, Record RD (FD is still Chorus, works fine... but it isn't CF!).
Custom wheelset: Campagnolo Record hubs, 32 spoke, DT Swiss rims.
Still love the Mantra saddle.
Ciamillo Negative G Ti brakes.
Arundel CF cages.
Chain catcher (getting older, making more mistakes on longer rides).
Rides even better than before (wheels make a big difference - stating the obvious, I realize).
And what she looks like when out on a ride (older bottle cages on this one).

hard to believe this is almost 3 years old.
to me, the white paint looks nicer than any current cervelo and the frame looks bang up to date in design.

Nice 75km ride in the rain this AM... decided to snap a couple of pictures to chronicle further developments.
San Marco Mantra rail cracked, replaced by a classic Arione black (a sofa comfort wise). Also, out of desire to shed some weight picked up a pair of Look Keo Carbon Ti Blades. Quite satisfied so far.
All else keep me very happy.

Pietro, You never stop to amaze me. Great bike. You even dropped your campagnolo pedals! I'm in shock.
If you want to see 'meh' content of me and my bike you can follow my life in pictures here!'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'

@Orpe,7.1. Nothing crazy on this bike. Think that a new bar/stem combo, saddle and Chinese CF wheelset would drop me in UCI illegal territory.
@Frankie, I am losing the strength of my convictions in old age.

<what follows is total blasphemy>
Pete... 7.1 is super cool for such a great machine. .
Riding a Look 595, chorus 11sp, neutrons & alloy cockpit myself (guessing 7.2 kg) myself. before i put money making my bike lighter, i have at least 20 lbs to loose from
myself

@OrPe, yes, in the same boat. Life in the way of the serious things. Have gotten the itch to upgrade to Campagnolo 11 and/or a nice new frame, but difficult to justify when I have so much to lose.
@sawyer, that is a good idea. Although I am more of a low profile guy... dreams of Hyperons appear every so often...
