Thanks to Jedi-Sports, my new baby is here in under 6 weeks!

Based on how long it took to build up the Velo Vie, this should be ready in about 7 months.

Actually, this time I already have the build mostly chosen...the parts are here, so could be done by next week

Oh, and weight was predictable high...gotta love those Italians!

The box arrives:

So cocky, those Italians...they put "2008 World Champion" on their packing tape:

As a cocky Italian, I say you have made an excellent choice.

My GF is also a huge fan...she's actually a designer, and has let me know in no uncertain terms that since this is the nicest bike EVER, this will also be my last purchase for a while 8)

Anyways...size is an XL for my looong legs, and the tall headtube and relatively short toptube both work for me...this is basically what I would order in a custom bike, which is awesome.

Weight was about 1200 grams. High, but that does include the integrated BB cups, which I intend to use, and the ISP, stubby aside.

Here is the build list, though I'm always up for suggestions:
- Super Record group
- M5 brakes with Reynolds pads
- Reynolds SVD66T wheels with Vittoria Paves
- Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbon
- Ritchey Classic bend carbon bars
- Either Ritchey WCS UD carbon stem or Rotor S1, depending on the length I settle on.

I expect the weight to be in the mid to high 14s, but judging by the tubes on this baby, she will be STIFF!

Oh, just one question...how do I get a seatpost clamp for OS carbon rails...Samu?

Here are some pics...Enjoy!

Reynolds look totally out of place. Be careful with such a beautifull frame!

I'd *love* to see this frame without any of the decals, slogans, or branding. Just a clean, bare frame...

Are the Cento 1s made in Italy?

Ok, for all those who would keep this an all-Italian affair...

Image

As for country of origin, I'm not sure, though there have been rumours of Wilier outsourcing their high end carbon to a small Italian producer.

Finally, use the search function to find pics for a cleaner Cento Uno...there is a beautiful custom red one on this forum.

Ritchey sells a WCS Alloy 1-Bolt Clamp Kit in both a carbon Selle or carbon Fizik version ($17.95).
If you live in Canada though, their web shopping site does not accept Canadian orders - I had to order a whole new stubby seat post from my lbs as the clamp kit was not listed in any Canadian bicycle part distributor catalogs yet.

Thanks for the tip.
Good to know it can be ordered - I have family in the States, so no big deal, though that is frustrating.
Might try to find a lighter version, though.

Oh, and I think the oldest wheels in the shed might be the choice...Reynolds DV46Ts already taped with Veloflex Carbons.
