Completely stock at the moment, bar the wheels, saddle and rear mech. Position still to be finalised (hence spacers on the steerer)

Wheels came off another bike (Easton XC One, Stans Tubeless, SB8), saddle was swapped as the stock (SLR XP) one is exactly the right shape and size to prevent me ever harbouring dreams of having kids, or walking. The Arione means i can still walk this morning.
Changed the dangly, waggly long cage shadow XTR to a short stiff XTR med cage rapid rise.

Bars, Stem and Seatpost to be swapped out for either Bontrager or Easton (i can get deals!)
Brakes to be moved to another bike and replaced with Hope Tech X2 (160/140).
Possibly getting new wheels at the same time, toss up between Hope XC3 SP and goldtec, both likely to be built up with stans.

No weights as yet as i'm more interested in durability and fit for purpose, weight comes later!

Quite a revelation compared to my old XTR/Ti/Pace race bike. Even that (which by all accounts is pretty solid) feels a bit sluggish compared to this.

No more excuses for failing to clear a climb........
