Stockie: the Moots SL flavours (they had a traditional Vamoots SL too) have front triangles made from seamless Reynolds 6al/4v tubes, with 3al/2.5v seatstays and chainstays, whereas the regular Compact/Vamoots are all 3al/2.5v. Unfortunately Reynolds will no longer supply companies with the small amounts of this product a bike company needs (at least that's my understanding), so Moots can no longer offer the SLs (as of about a year and a half ago). The 6/4 tubes make the bike about 100-150g lighter, not sure how they affect the ride qualities. The SLs also had more heavily relieved drop-outs.
This is my bike at the moment. Still need to change some parts.

Very nice Vortex. Is that a standard paint scheme or something special that you had done?

Hi, the "paint" that you guys call it, is just sticker foil strapped around the tubes. As i don't have any idea how to paint the frame, i just played with sticker foil so i can work out a design much cheaper than having it painted. Once i have found a nice design i might have it painted. The main idea was to have the frame just completely polished and some fine logo on it. But i've been polishing the frame for more than 55h and want to ride this bike this summer. Working on the frame will be for next winter again.

No. My dad has a publicity company who works daily with that kind of sticker foil. The white foil is done by hand. The text was done with the computer and a plot-machine.
