I guess the new 101 will be stiffer at the bb and headtube-fork, no?

I cant see why that would be necessary. The Cento1 (not Sr) had some issues with high speed wobble because of the headtube/fork. The Cento1 SR did not have these issues.

I emailed you about the Woodman...I came across it on Google looking for a replacement for my Ritchey, and I'm too new to PM or post in classifieds.

Fourthbook wrote:My new build, replacing a much loved Cento Uno under warranty. All components transferred from the old to the new except the Enve stem (115 grams/100mm) and new cables. Weight is 13.10 lbs (5.95kg) with Enve 3.4s, or 12.53 lbs (5.68kg) with 'climbing' wheels (Extralite hubs; FarSports 24mm rims). Comments to follow after a few rides...

PS: I have the old Woodman topper w/Smud carbon fiber cradle leftover from old bike. Weighs 86 grams and makes a great upgrade from the Ritchey OEM topper on Cento Unos and SL. PM me if interested.

@Fourthbook; had any creaking issues with that Extralite rear hub?

@TheDarkInstall: got the Extralite hubs on a wheel set built by FairWheel Bikes in March '12 and transferred them to the FarSport wheels shown in the picture about a year ago. The hubs have been perfect: maintenance free and spin like butter.

Hi everyone,

I ride a 2013/14 Zero 7 (size: s) , and thinking of purchasing the new Campag. Bora One/Ultra 50 clincher with 25 mm tires. However, Im concerned that the wider Boras will not fit my frame, especially with 25mm tires (i.e. tire rub on my frame). Anyone owners of previous generation Zero 7 and using the new Bora wheels can help me out with this?

Thx

Hi people I'm new around here so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I'm currently in the market for a new bike and at the top of my list currently is the 2016 Wilier Cento1 SR. Unfortunately there isn't a great deal online about the bike so I'm hoping I can get some opinions from some current users about how the bike performs etc.

Other bikes I am somewhat considering are:

- Nago C60 (although totally different to what I'm looking at)
- Basso Diamanté/Astra
- Nago V1-R

Currently I ride a Cannondale Supersix Evo (Dura-Ace mechanical, Enve 3.4s, Enve cockpit and seat post) and as much as I love it I have grown a little sick of it and feel that it might be time for a new one.

If I were to classify my riding style (if you could call it that) I am definitely a puncheur and I'm at home on rolling terrain. I can hold power up moderate shorter climbs so I want something that will perform well in this terrain whilst being a little more zippy than what I have currently.

Any help would be great. Thanks :D

Hey GoldenGreek,

I have just taken delivery of my 2016 Cento1SR, which is replacing my Cannondale EVO Di2. I'll be running an Enve cockpit and 4.5's, Ultegra Di2 (I know, I know, but it's a race rig).

I have yet to ride it, but based on input from my office mates and a friend just retired from the UHC squad, I'm expecting big things!

I also happen to sell Wilier, Colnago + upteen others so if you are interested, PM me and I can fill you in.

I'm happy to post a full review once I get it rolling. The EVO was great, but I'm looking forward to a stiffer lower end.
