I see kgt is still the blinkered individual.
Why try to bust everyone's balls constantly? I don't get it.
If we put your posts in a positive/negative table you would be so leading the negative team!
Just stop, try feeling some love for people who don't think the way you do.
Sort your hate issues out.

A good friend of mine uses his Colnago Master as a commuter. I think the build is beautiful. Why? Because it's used every single day and has logged more miles than the Colnagos of many of you, and he's only had it for a few years.
Seriously, a bike that's in use? Totally awesome! Keep riding! Ignore the haters. Do what works for you and your budget.

That's all in your mind... relax. Most of my comments are positive in a forum that even has a 'freaks' thread.
And, no, I don't agree that any bike that is ridden hard is a beauty. I respect builders, riders and collectors that really know how to set a great looking bike where every component follows the same concept. A lot of you don't give a $hit about all this. That's ok.

Well done for putting us all straight.....'for not giving a shit'
Thanks.
I just don't see why we all have to follow some kind of pre conceived ideal of what parts go with what bike. It's nothing personal, but the idea that only certain parts can be used according to a pre-set arrangement doesn't sit well with me.
Peace out.
Thanks.

You can put whatever you want on your frame, it's your frame and your money, and you only have to care about your own opinion after all.
But if you come to post pictures on a forum like this one ( or any other ) where many discerning, demanding and OCDish people share their opinions on how a particular frame should be built, then be prepared to receive the approval or scorn you deserve for it
Anyway it's only you who would enjoy the prestige or shame you'll carry on your build choices
