No worries dreale,

Personally I would go for the bigger size; Its not a big frame size anyway, the bigger size is probably more comfortable and a stack of spacers can affect stiffness. It also doesn't look as good...(I think)

Just my 2 bob's worth.

Good luck, I love my C60.

thanks

You have almost the exact same measurement as I do. I got a 48s c60. I run a 100mm stem. I have shorter arms. The 50s would be like 54x54 traditional of the master X light. . I use a 90mm stem for my 54 trad.

THANKS!!

I'm 171cm 83cm inseam and ride a 48s EPS as well as a 50s CX Zero and a 52t C50 and Extreme C. I would shoot for the 48s if I were you. I run a120mm stem and it's perfect! 50s not as nimble (ofcourse depending on being a different bike overall but anyways a tell sign). Trad geo is more classy though...

thanks Kolmo!

The only issue I see with 48s is the very short steering tube which would mean that I need to ride it with quite some spacers. also the toptube is 1 cm shorter from what I ride at the moment (Giant TCR advanced)

Do you ride it w/o spacers?

Yeah I don't run any spacers which is a perfect fit for me. I have a Deda Campione handlebar (which is not overly shallow/"ergo").

FWIW I also ride a Giant tcr composite size small (dry weather summer commuter) with no spacers.

The c60 had a 11-27 original cassette and I changed to 12-29. Still think it's ok. The X has a 11-32 on the vision instead of the standard 11-28. Yeah that one needs to go back to 11-28. The 11-32 usually reside on the wilier cento uno sl. What can I say, I'm fat.

Very nice! What's the weight?

I'm currently building up an Extreme C 52T with as light as can be parts + SR mech groupset and hope to arrive at a decent weight, so would be interested in what weight you achieved with yours.

Sorry missed this post and question, it's built with 'leftover parts' so is currently 7.6 kg. I will gradually get it to 7.0 with lighter Groupset and wheels.
