I like the paint scheme on this on- you should consider correcting the handlebar angle upwards.

Yes, definitely fix the handlebar angle but nice to see a traditional C60.

but the drops are parallel with the top bar and with the stem which looks great! and the guy has done 600 kms on it and seems to like it like this. actually they could rotate back up slightly and be even better aligned.

Well, thats not the way to fit your handlebar, the bottom needs to parallel with the headset/crown tube

But its just a suggestion - whatever rocks your world..

stormp - can you explain that more. how can the drops (is that what the bottom is?) be parallel with the crown tube? have you got a diagram of what you are describing or an example perhaps?

He means rotate the bars counterclockwise about 5 degrees so they are parallel with the fork crown (the gap between the fork and the headtube). I would personally rotate slightly less than this, so the drops are parallel with the ground

i see, that's interesting because it sounds like a bit of a setup guideline.

until recently i aimed for a flat run from bar to lever, with the lever placed so as to extend that.

it does look good though when the drop is parallel with the stem and also with the top tube (which would also be ground in this case). be interesting to hear from the OP if current placement is his preference or just happenstance?

Current setup is definitely not parallel with the top tube, photoshop says it's around 2 degrees past horizontal
