Thanks. Heh heh, yeah i know. I've been thoroughly spoilt riding carbon forks. Am keeping a peep for used 1" force or star forks. Thankfully I kept the original precisa chrome fork.

Your C50 must be a great ride. The closest I came was test riding a C40 which I loved but couldn't afford way back then. My affair with Colnago started with a 2nd hand Tecnos which I rode for 2 years. Then I had an Ovalmaster, and I simply loved the ride but the worst thing that happened to it was the paint flaked, yeah flaked off in 4 places after 1.5 years of riding, it wasn't even paint chips. It broke my heart seeing it that way. Had it repainted and sold. Moved to another brand but kept dreaming of riding Colnagos...

This is a great frame so...
You MUST change this fork. You can find a colnago precisa steel or carbon (whatever you want). Totalcycling sells both.

Colnago Star is expensive but you can always sell your... Dura-Ace... :)

Mine is 57, with Deda Newton 130 mm stem. Actually, I think 56 would be perfect for me, with 140 mm stem.
What bothers me a litlle with "57" is the seatpost .... see what I mean?! :D But then again, I like bigger frames :D

Yes thats a shame about the Colnago logo vanishing down the frame, but its only a very little problem i think, you can always get another seatpost with other kinds of logos and maybe even lighter?? There are so many posts out there, im thinking maybe a Campagnolo record would look great. How tall are you anyway?

Thanks Rumsas, but I`ll stick with the Colnago seatpost. Record post looks great, but Colnago is Colnago ;)Maybe, just maybe ... I`ll remove the decal ... :D
I am 176 cm tall.
