Sir, you must be a magician.

How did you last 24 hours without any one commenting on the chain being on the inner ring:?

2nd Colnago build for me and 3rd and my final road bike although one should never say never..........

NOS Master X Light frame and NOS Precisa fork. Size 54 seat and top tube. The frame was actually finished in the matt 'Soft Paint' which I found stained up too easily so a full clean and triple coating of 2 pac automotive clear gloss before building up.

My objective was to build a bicycle with plenty of retro visual appeal with heaps of highly polished equipment. I insist upon riding compact cranks so period correct Record/Chorus etc was out and full alloy Athena 11speed with UT compact cranks is in.

Cinelli Touch anatomic bars on a refurbished Kalloy stem / Campagnolo Record 1" threaded headset / Nitto S65 seat post with SMP Dynamic saddle

Hand polished Campagnolo Lambda Strada tubular rims with polished DT Swiss Champion spokes laced up to Record 10sp era polished alloy hubs all topped off with a pair of 25mm FMB Paris-Roubaix tubular tyres........

The pic is so win that the inner ring doesn't matter that much.

Beautiful those 2 yellow ones, AD14 and LX14....

I still prefer the blueish 10s though.

Very nice bike I love the paint scheme.

I actually build a C40 as well with a Record seatpost. How would you solve the Problem with the Diameters 27,2 and 28,0? Thanks for a short answer.

On my C40 I just ran this adapter:

27,2 > 28 version Works fine, I never had any slip with that installed.
