BxEddie, please post more pics of that build. The frameset is spectacular. What size is the frame?

I think so.

Some changes to my master x light...at the 9 kilo mark, I was just not using it that much. decided to trim some weight and go for some retro-mod...now at 8 kg, its a pleasure to ride in these flat roads

Awesome, awesome, awesome!
That said, any chance to try a slightly more svelte stem? Think it stands out a bit.

Yeah, the last few bikes are amazing.

@ BxEddie, what stem is that you have on your Master? I see that it's Colnago badged, but do you know who made it?

Ritchey?

yes, it`s a Ritchey WCS. I used Scotchbride to remove the logo at the frontclamp. Put a Colnago sticker on and removed it after painting it. The stem is matt black and the frontclamp is glossy finished. Changed to black titan screws.

I like it, because it is slim and it covers the reduction shim of the 1" fork.

I knew this was going to be questioned... Because I had a super deal for this 54s frameset that I could not pass. Big bulky tubes, modern graphics, so I think sloping is OK even for a Colnago. Not even traditional bend bars for this build.... For traditional days there's always the traditional bike to ride.

I had planned to go down to 58 trad from 59 trad anyway, so 54s is just perfect. The seatpost is at my ride height in the pic. Low topcap and 1 spacer + 120 or 130mm stem with Zero 100 bars and it should be perfect.

Record 11, Regale FX, Zero100 stem... Then reverting back my CT2 to older parts and sourcing some new to make it rideable again.

-19°C and 30cm of snow so plenty of time to fiddle with bikes...
