Here is my Bianchi Oltre XR4. Build conducted since February till May and still not finished ;)

My conditions were:
- light/aero setup --> frame, wheels, bars
- comfort --> frame, tires, bar tape
- look

Only Di2 considered, don't like Campagnolo's look and ergonomics.

Bike could be easily under 6.50kg but it's for daily use and must be durable and... satisfy my eyes ;)

Final weight: 6.85kg

Frame: BIANCHI - Oltre XR4 - 57cm
Fork: BIANCHI - Oltre XR4
Expander: EXTRALITE - expander UltraStar3
Top cap: absoluteBLACK
Headset: FSA
Seatpost clamp: BIANCHI - Oltre XR4 + CARBON TI - Aluminium Screw M5x35 black
Seatpost: BIANCHI - Oltre XR4 + LBS - Precision ti bolts M6x25 black
Seat: CROWN SADDLE - Graf Ludwig II (custom red stitching)
Stem: THM - Tibia (100mm / 6 degrees)
Spacers: TUNE - Spacer Magnesium (15mm) + EXTRALITE - ExtraBolt 10 (5mm)
Bar: 3T - Aeronova LTD stealth (42cm) (shortened ends)
Bartape: LIZARD SKINS - DSP 3.2mm
Bottle cages: VINCERO DESIGN - edgePRO (incl. Bianchi alu bolts)
Outer Cables: JAGWIRE - Road Elite + SHIMANO - Dura-Ace BC-9000
Inner Cables: POWER CORDZ - Zylon Brake Cable
Brakes: SHIMANO - Dura-Ace BR-R9110 (F&RS) + TUNE - carbon brake shoes
Front derailleur: SHIMANO - Dura-Ace FD-R9150
Rear derailleur: SHIMANO - Dura-Ace RD-R9150 SS + CERAMICSPEED - OSPW system coated black
Crankset: SHIMANO - 105 FC-5800 (172.5mm) + STAGES G2
Bottom Bracket: CERAMICSPEED - BB86 Coated Black
Chainrings & bolts: absoluteBlack OVAL ROAD 110/4 BCD 50/34 + 4 absoluteBlack bolts
Chain: KMC - X11SL DLC black/celeste - 114 links
Shifters: SHIMANO - Dura-Ace ST-R9150
Cassette: ROTOR - Uno (11-12-13-14-15-16-17-19-21-24-28)
Wheels: ROVAL - CLX 64
Inner tubes: CONTINENTAL - Race Light 700 x 20-25 (presta 80mm)
Tires: S-WORKS - TURBO 700x26C
Pedals: SPEEDPLAY - Nanogram Zero
Di2 cables: EW-JC130-SM, EW-SD50 (300, 400, 550, 750, 950) + EW-SD50-I x2
Di2 accessories: EW-RS910, SM-JC41, EW-WU111, BT-DN110-1, FSA battery holder

Up to date I rode approx. 2000 kilometers on the bike. It's stiffness to comfort ratio is unbeatable, absolutely amazing !

Plans for future:
- Dura-Ace power meter (R9100-P) - release in November ?
- replace spacers for FSA aero (better look, but heavier)

Big thanks to all forum members ! You inspired many of my ideas and helped the build to come true !

I'm open to answer any questions :)

Thanks :beerchug:

The stem offers very solid connection to handle bars. Connection type is innovative and actually much better than standard considering carbon-titanium interface. It's very stiff for sprinting but gives little bit of smoothness in terms of canceling vibrations.

Previously I had EXTRALITE - HyperStem O-6 which was 3 grams lighter (but 10 mm shorter). I definitely prefer THM due to it's stability and look.

I'm considering buying longer one, and this will be again Tibia.

Stem is very expensive, but really worth it.

Thanks

I've had old Venge - see photo below.

Venge was very nice bike but Oltre XR4 is much better, technically speaking (as it is obviously newer).

Main differences are:

- Bianchi is much stiffer in bottom bracket area, you could feel Venge bending while climbing out of saddle.

- Venge was very harsh (stiff) vertically. Did not absorb any vibrations from the road. I can say that Biamchi's Countervail is really working.

- Oltre XR4 is more stable during descending, the fork and head tube are much stiffer.

- I don't like Oltre XR4 seatpost: nice carbon with heavy, old fashioned metal clamping system on top (50g heavier than Venge one).

- I really liked S-WORKS crankset. One of the lightest options on the market (626grams with 50-34 absoluteBLACK oval rings and QUARK power meter).

I hope this answers the question ;)
