Hi,

I'm all ready active on this forum for a couple of months, but now i have my own (more or less) weightweenie bike:
My Cervélo SLT with Sram Force, Easton EA90 Aero, Selle Italia SLR, and some Ritchey stuff.
Weight is about 7,5 kg, i still have to check it...

absolutely gorgeous property you have there. the grass is very lush looking. I also like the back yard Decor. the brick with the wood trim around the door is a nice touch.

nice bike too.

PS: I notice you have the automatic window shades, how do those work out for you? I've always wondered if those were reliable or not for long term investment.

Wow.. That's the nicest looking Cervelo I've seen yet. Perfect parts combo, in my opinion.

EDIT: Ok.. *almost* perfect.. You need an EC90 stem on there and then it will be perfect!

Maybe i will change some minor things like:
- red KCNC skewers
- white nokons,
- Syntace stem and handebar

First of all, it isn't the lightest cockpit
Syntace F99 stem and Racelite 7075 handlebar would shave 35-40 grams.
And second, the coloured WCS drawings don't match the red-white-black bike... It' all in the details

when the budget allows a set of dv46 clinchers (debadged) or ec90 aero would make this one of the most unique and super good lookings rigs on WW

IMO

ps good taste in wheels

I first concidered a pair of Reynolds assault wheels, but i changed my mind because i wanted really good wheels. So i've choosen some first class aluminium wheels instead of the cheap carbon ones.
Maybe later on i'll buy a set of high profile carbon wheels, that would really finish the bike

Nice bike - clean and simple build. My cup of tea, so to speak.

Do you guys think the red KCNC brakes would match the rest of the build? Or would the silver or black ones be a better choice?

I'd leave them as they are.

This is not a WW build - no use compromising brake power/reliability for 100g less.

Apart from that, I don't think metallic/anodized red will look good combined with this frameset.

My preference for weight savings goes to the wheels first.

That's where you'll notice an improvement in performance - not the other way round as it's highly likely with the brake change.

I agree with spirits. I had very lightweight brakes on a past bike and the weight savings did not warrant the decreased braking performance
