This bike is far from light at the current moment. But it is a decent cheap stiff race machine. It will be a lot lighter as time goes on but here is a run down of the parts as she sits.

I think there is a solid pound that could be removed off this bike with a few improvements, what do you guys think? Which is where I would like the race weight to be at. Just incase anyone is curious I'm 6'3" 160lbs.

I think it looks great, especially the blue panels. You could lose loads of weight, but you've proved that you don't have to have the best gear to produce a nice bike. Well done.

I much prefer the sloping geometry on BMCs to the conventional Geometry, shame they dont do it on the Team and SL01 bikes.
Nice looking build well done

Thanks for the compliments, The weight loss has begun. I recieved my ti zero gravity's today these things defy logic with how ridiculously light they are. A set of race wheels is in the works but probably some dv46's.

I need a decent set of skewers asap, any good suggestions?

I like the Heylight titanium skewers. They are about 50g a pair, but they are not easy to get hold of. Bold Precision are very similar to Heylights and can be got through Fairwheelbikes. Then you have Tune's, but perosnally I don't like the closing mechanism. However, others love them and they are slightly lighter than the Heylights.
