Hi there, the last time I weighted my bike is when it had a fox talas on at 11kg! I believe it should weigh in at 10.5-10.8kg now that I've replaced it with an F100 rlc. I'm new to weight weenism n am trying to get my cannondale f800 to get below 9500gms. Please give some suggestions as to what can I do to reduce the weight.

Anyone knows what's the weight of the frame as there are some confusion if this is an optimo or a furio frame. It's m size.

Cannondale f800 m size frame
fox fork rlc f100
2008 mavic crossmax slr
thomson stem and seatpost
bontrager foam grips shaved 18g
pazzazz oversized straight carbon bar
selle italia gel flow 219g
sram pg-970 cassette 400g too heavy!!
shimano dura ace/ xtr chain
2005 shimano dual control lx shifters
lx calipers and discs
lx front d
2005 xt rear d
Shimano pd-m 520 pedals (I believe) 380g?

Can you give us a build list? And things you definitely don't want to change.

nice bike

Sorry if my build list is not as detailed as some of you guys. But things I would like to keep in order of priority would be the

PRIORITY 1
frame, fork, wheels

PRIORITY 2
Seat, seat post, stem, front derailleur, handlebars, pedals, crankarm and BB,

PRIOTIRY 3
Rear derailleur, Chain, Cassette, tubes, hydraulic brakes(I'll be sticking to hydros)

Would you guys give me your priority as to what parts should go first to save the most weight? I understand that the rule of thumb would be that the moving parts like chain, wheelsets, cassettes and crank arms should be the lightest for good performance?

I see some of you guys using a 9 or 10 speed dura ace rear cassette and dura ace rear D. Should I do the same to save weight?

How much more weight would I save if I were to replace my current group to a 2008 full xtr with hydros and rapid fire shifters?

XT cassete
SRAM X.9 rear d., gen.X front d., X.9 gripshift, PC991 chain
light tires (Michelin XC Dry, Schwabe RR, ...) with tubeless kit

and... a Fatty! Fox looks funny, and it's heavy. Fatty Ultra is 1220g, and much stiffer.
