My wife new winter / shopping bike. Shimano 105 Group will change to Campa centaur, saddle to Aspide Glamour and stem to 10cm Syntace.

Now I have a permission to buy 595 ultra for myself.

My first fixie and also crap weather bike. I also have been using my aluminum cross bike with fenders, lights, etc. Its only a single chainring/8-speed, but it goes up anywhere I can take it to with a 42x12/26 cassette.

I bought the detachable race fenders and they have been great!! A very good purchase. In deep puddles they don't quite have the full coverage like in front of the fork, but still a lot better than nothing.

and last I occasionally use my Specialized Epic FSR. It keeps the speeds low on really cold days, but the effort up lugging the 27 or 28 lbs around.

The cross bike now converted to commuter. CSK Deddacai 7005 aluminum tube-set (rides like a steel bike) with 8-speed Shimano stuff and 42t single chain ring set-up. CSK Race fenders really makes things nice, yet I always find excuses not to commute. One flat a couple weeks ago so I bought Conti GP4 Season 700x25 tires. Ride kind of harsh so I dropped them to 85f 90 r psi and still the sidewalls barely deflect, but ride improved somewhat. Its not horrible and I'll take the Gatorskin and reinforced sidewalls to a flat on a 20 degree morning!! A very nice bike in all conditions.
