My trusty winter steed. Took this photo because I'm about to post it for sale locally. Bittersweet as I've really enjoyed the heck out of this bike, but selling to make room for the next one...

Are you not scared of having to take a hand off the bars for shifting, when it's so slippery?

thanks! its only 7 speed so im not shifting too often, even then its not really scary. slipping and sliding is all part of winter/snow riding. just gotta learn how to deal with it

I love this winter build. I'm doing something very similar with a Tricross frame in the spring. I have the 5700 levers, but don't have the V-brakes I want. Do you know if the 105 brifters will be compatible with Acera V-brakes?
