great bike-the wheelset fits perfect, better than the lightweights, for my taste.

Great bike Timo! I have enjoyed reading through the evolution of it in this thread. I would also love to see it try on a pair of record hubs, ambrosio tubs and some pave CG's in its next iteration.

Thanks! "Sleg8", must admit that I've been thinking about such a set but saved the idea for a less weenie more Paris-Roubaix proof build.

Hello Timo,

The bike continues to look great. I agree that the current wheelset fits the look of the frame very well.
Thanks.

Its a personal thing I know, but I would lose the paintjob (and a couple of 10s of grams?) and get it back to its naked lovely titanium self :)

Bike looks stellar, what would it look like with black bar tape and a black saddle? Just curious. :)

Timo, I love this bike, I'm a fellow flexy ti advocate!

Do you run the down tube shifter as a weight saving measure or for some other clever reason? Where did you get the carbon down tube lever from please?

Thanks all! "Tallboy", it's made by BTP but you'll need a donor Campagnolo shifter because all BTP gets you is the lever.

Well, since I decided to have my Merlin repainted and because I think polished alu goes better with white I started polishing after getting rid of the black anodized finish. Nice job for a rainy afternoon...
