I really like the tan sidewall and either wheel set, and the Flite saddle, but the rest of the bike is really the point! Congrats on a well executed build.

For the most beautiful bike on WW

Wow, I've seen some great builds in this forum and many which I consider more beautiful...but I very much appreciate the compliment!
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

I really mean it.
Perfectly balanced.
Love the tubing.
Love the full white scheme and I'm usually a hater of white seatpost and stem...
Kudos

Unfortunately I have to conclude that matt white wasn't a good choice. Impossible to clean and to vulnerable (paint chips very easy compared to the previous gloss black finish). So things have to change and the change is called gloss RAL 3005 wine red.
Other changes:
- 10sp Record except for the 10sp Chorus cranks and brakes.
- Record seat post
- Record bottle holders
- custom painted Syntace F99 stem
- return of the downtube shifter for the front derailleur
- white Fizik Alliante saddle
- white Hudz grips

Yes, the matt white paint is all chipped and dirty. Fact it already started to chip when the headset and stem were installed. Hardly leaves me a choice. The gloss clear coat is much stronger than the matt clear coat and because the gloss coat is also much smoother it will attract less dirt and grease. And all-in-all wine red will be more subtile than gloss white, which suits the frame more.

I like how you made something really outstanding from parts that have been around for a while.
I mean to say that ut is your effort that made this project unic,
Its not an if thd shelf excercise.

May I suggest leaving the seatstays unpainted and polished instead? You can also leave a thin sliver before each edge especially at the headset and BB so the paint does not peel when you install.
A full side pic pleas? Looks great!
Full side pic of what, the white bike? The frame set is currently at the painter getting a wine red respray.

Certainly, I won't use decals. The texts on the black, white and now the red version of the frame are sprayed on by the painter.
