i like how 'close' it is on the bar.. do you know if all cateye's are so close to the bar?... or have you modified the computer holder...? and indeed can it be mounted on the stem?

It can be mounted on the stem. You just have to turn the inner side of the mount.

But i prefer my computer on my handlebar
