Hello everyone. I have been visiting the forum for some weeks and have posted before, but I never introduced myself properly. I started riding MTB over 10 years ago and little by little I migrated into the road riding scene. I still go out to play in the dirt once in a while. I am 6'3", 184 lbs and one of my bikes is this 60 cm aluminum Pinarello Surprise. Obviously, is not real a WW bike being that is so big, but the weight is not too bad at 17.30 lbs (7.85 kg). The bike does ride like a dream. Here is the build:

Frame: 2003 Pinarello Surprise
Fork: Look HSC-3 (all carbon)
Wheels: 2006 Ligero (Alex R3.1 & R3.2, Tune Mig75/Mag190, CX-Ray)
Skewers: Performance Q-Stik Pro Titanium
Tires: Veloflex Pave Black
Tubes: Conti Race Lite
Shifters: 2006 Campy Record
FD: 2006 Campy Record standard
RD 2006 Campy Record
Cranks: 2007 Campy Chorus UT carbon CT
Cassette: 2006 Campy Chorus 12-25
Pedals: Shimano Dura Ace 7750
Chain: 2007 Campy Record Ultra Narrow
BB: 2007 Campy Record UT cups
Saddle: Specialized Toupe Ti 143mm
Seatpost: Thomson Masterpiece
Bars: 3TTT Forma SL
Stem: Performance Forte Pro 120mm
Headset: Chris King 1"
Bar tape: Stella Azurra Eleganza
Cages: Elite Patao Carbon
Computer: Campy ErgoBrain

By the way, any ideas where to bring this bike under 16 lbs?

That is one beautiful bike. One of these days I plan to get an Italian steel bike from the mid 80s to mid 90s. If nothing else, I hang it on the wall and call it art.

Thanks DC. Not to take away from any other frame makers, but there is something about the ride of Italian bikes that make them ride so smooth and much better in my opinion. My French made Gitane (FdJ replica) is very "twitchy". Is a great bike, but it does not handle as good as my Pinarello.
