I really do not understand why some people get so bent out of shape. I certainly do not have ANYTHING against anyone on this forum. Some people handed out some lumps but I agree, I deserved most all of them. If I can dish it out, I need to be able to take it.

It is OBVIOUS that what I said is just an opinion. Nothing more than that. Everything that was said back to me was just that user's opinion. But I am not going to apologize for anything I said. We are all grown men and women here and most people just need to chill out. It is almost like the Mac/Windows crowd arguing!

I went out for another hill climbing interval ride yesterday and was being even more critical of the bike after all the paper clip and noodle comments. I can honestly say, the bike is rock solid. It climbs so smotth and steady. It has no weak links int at all. Flying down the hills at 48 mph it is still as steady as can be. I have no complaints at all.

I love my new bike, I hope you love your bike too!

to the original poster, ryanholio:

I suggest you may get a more responsive audience from www.bikeforums.net, there they are very pro-American , anti-asian, anti-European, anti-facts and racist comments against asians are very well tolerated by the mods. (Which is why I don't post there).

There, you may learn that China and Taiwan are the same country, and a Trek or lightspeed with Shimano groups are somehow a "100% American" bike. Anything else is pro-communist or just cobbled by 'pasta-eaters'. Oh, and steel is real.

Yes steel is real, but so is titanium, aluminium, scandium, niobium, carbon, magnesium and popcorn. Unobtanium is not real. I have a bike made out of it and it is unreal.

Xmas came a few days early this year...
The frame (welds and lines) are absolutely beautiful.

I'll do the comparo with my 827g CR1 as soon as it's built (not scientific - just a simple comparison of the "feel" on hills, flats, and downhill) using same wheels. Results should be interesting.
