The frame comes with a guide that slides down over the seat mast- you tighten it much like a seat collar to secure it- then saw away.

Ahh hah! Thanks FG... thats exactly what I wanted to know. Once the cut is made, was there any problems with the cut edge on the paint? Or did you tape it first? Just wondering if there is any possibiliy of chipping the paint. Then agian, the saw guide likely takes care of that I guess.

I tried to tape it first- there wasn't enough clearance between the guide and the seatmast, though. The manual reccomends using a 26-30 tooth per inch blade-

I didn't have any issues with the paint chipping or anything of the sort. I did get one small scratch from the guide- probably my fault.

Might I suggest red and white tape? I've seen two-color tape somewhere. White across the top and red on the drops!

I plan on getting an Ergomo sometime over the next year- this way I won't have to get new cranks too.

I love the new Campy cranks- I think it's quite easily one of the best designs to comeout in recent year and Campy was certainly due for a new crankset/bb combo.

The Zipps only cost me $450, too.

I went with a size medium on the frame- I was worried that it would be too small but it fits like a dream.

I couldn't be more pleased.

Yes, I train on tubies- nothing beats the ride of a good old fashioned tubular.

It had one small run in the paint on the underside of the driveside chainstay and a few orange peels here and there. Considering how much paint is on it, they did a pretty good job. The cable routing threw me off a little- the cables are inverted where they enter the downtube- the cable for the front mech enters on the driveside and the cable for the rear enters on the non-driveside.

The frames come with a manual that explains everything pretty well- I don't care who you are- read it first. If it got me, it'll get you too.

love the build. the red saddle though doesn't match unless you get some other red items...as others have suggested, red bar tape would be a good complement.
