I just order my SLC-SL and dumped the Tarmac Sl off. Right now my build is consisting of:

2007 Soloist Carbon SL frame and fork 58cm
Campy Record grouppe
Fulcrum Racing 1
Team Toupe saddle
Deda Newton stem
Keo Carbon

I'm still deciding on the bars. Any suggestions? Also, should I keep the Newtons OR go for the Ritchey WCS 4 axis/fsa os115? My stem will be a 130mm. I'm going for a shallow drop/ flat integrated bar. input please!

sounds like a nice build, as for the bars I would go with Ritchey WCS 4-axis stem, with WCS alu classic bars

or: Deda newton stem, with deda classic shallow bar.

by flat integrated bar, does that mean a flat top for climbing?

I did got my Cervelo R3 frame yesterday in size 54 with the Wolf C SL fork. The Fsa seatpost looks nice in it but is sooooooooooooooooo heavy. I will have to get a shim and use mijn 27.2 Ritchey WCS carbon
Other components; Sram force compact with chorus chaine and cassette, Ritchey wcs alu, SLR seat, Speedplay csc replica, Nokon. Because I'm a bit on a budget here I'll take the Neutron Ultra wheels. They look nice, classy and aren't to heavy.

My first Cervélo, built yesterday night... some changes will follow (bar tap colour, chainrings, maybe the saddle). Weight with disc and Z8 front wheel is 7.8kg.

CASRAN, Ihope that you are good friends with the local police, as you be breaking a few speeding limits on that machine! Looks great!!!

Update the topic when you have some pics of the "finished" product (bartape, rings, etc...).

Thanks for sharing yet another great looking Cervelo!

That P3 sure looks fast.... also looks like white bar tape would blend well with the frame accents... just my opinion... fantastic looking bike and love the Zipps...

nice build Casran,

may I suggest to anyone who has a TT bike that sand paper works great as bar tape on the shifting extensions.

I have a Cervélo R3 with the Wolf C SL fork, Ritchey WCS stuff, a Sram Force group and Dt-Swiss white mon chasseral wheels.
Looks great, but would still like to have high rim wheels.
Photo's soon.
