I know we've seen millions of CR1's on here and everyone is probably sick of seeing them, but I just got my first weight weenie bike and had to share it. Recommendations welcome. Enjoy.

Excellent build. I'd also stick with a DA Cassette but hey, if it works ok then why not.

If you compare my bike and your's you get a perfect example as to how Weight Weenieism works. We both use the (almost) same frame, stem, bar, post and groupset. I have CaneCreek wheels that also use zipp rims and I even switched the Scott fork for a WCS one wich is like 100g less...

Still your bike is something like 600 grams lighter than mine is... It's all in the details. (ok and the hubs ;)

I couldn't believe the difference having a light bike made on my first ride. I came from a 17lb S-works with Ultegra 10, and this thing put it to shame in every way.

@Danny- The white bar tape is just the standard Deda tape. My favorite because it is so easy to clean.

Thanks for all the good reviews!

I think that "difference" you felt was in the lighter wheels.

This reminds me of the scene in Forest Gump where as a kid he brakes off his leg braces and then takes off running. Run Forest...

BTW, nice bike.
