Thank you for your reply Romano. At the moment my lightest wheelset is AC 350, tune 70/190, dt earolite 24/28. The weight of the wheelset is 1276 gram. When i compare these wheels with for instance Mavic Ksyrium SL there accelerate a lot better and the stiffness feels not less. Even my Zipp 404 did not compete with my AC. The speedcomposites will be even lighter. Which tube do you prefer?? I am thinking of Veloflex, because of the low rollresistance.

Greetings Napoleon

I like Dugast (240 gr) and also Clement when they were producted.
Very soft ride and you can inflate at high pressure.
I never rode Veleflex but I think they are a very good quality.

When I ride races with very bad roads it means not "clean" roads or very rainy day I prefer Conti Competition (265 gr) puncture resistancce is higher or Conti Sprinter.

CX are good but not as years ago they are not so soft and sometimes heavier over 250 gr 270-280 sometimes but before it was under 250-240 gr. but they are cheaper 32 €. At this price

And of course I prefer to leave the tubulars to dry 2-3 years if possible it improve puncture resistance a littlte bit and easier to mount them much more easier.

Bye.

Romano.

Romano(or other users of speedcomposites)how are your experiences up till now with the speedcomposites wheels?? How are the brakeperformances? Do you cross with them and stay the wheels true??

Thanks!
