Hello,

I'm hanging around here for some weeks now, and I think it's time to introduce me and my bike to you guys.
My complete name is Thomas Decorte, and I'm 18 year's old. I live in Belgium and that's offcourse the country in which all of my rides take place.
I'm studying aeroplane technic's at Ostend. And as in aeroplane's my bike must become also become as light as possible.

But I am a student and therefore have a limited budget. I can saddly not efford extreme light and exclusive parts but once I'll have a job and go to work...

This is what i put together: a Cannondale F600 2004.

I bought the bike at october 2004 and updated every part since then. Most of the parts I bought at german online shop's to cut the costs.

According to the scale in the bathroom i kicks in at 11kg, and I recently used a scale from a fishermen (analoge scale) and it also states my bike should weigh 11kg. That's a fact I refuse to believe. Is this correct, or should that be about the weight of a bike with such parts... I guess it's between 9 - 10kg

I'm planning of installing a X.0 short cage, a complete Ti bolt tuning, Nokon's and maybe other pedals (but the shimano's are very good). Also foam grip's are on the top of my "to change" list.

PS: Sorry for my bad English. As it is not my first languege I'm not used of typing and speaking it. But I did my best...
God spoke; "There shall be light..."
