Hey everybody! I've just ventured over from newly registering on MTBR.com's forums.

I've been riding over 10 years, but after not riding for a couple years, i've gotten back on the bike and have been vastly introduced to a crazy new world (to me) of mtb'ing.

I bought my full rigid Mongoose brand new back around 94 and being back on it just wasn't cutting it with my new riding endevours. SO, I am now the new owner of an 07 Gary Fisher HiFi Deluxe. Its amazing how far things have come since i've been into biking. I figured if i was going to buy something new to get into it, i'd look for something as new and innovative as I could. Hopefully I made the right choice!!

Here is the new rig:

here's the best I can do for now on the specs:

from go-hifi.com:

6061 T6 butted and formed aluminum frame
Assymetric swing arm
Bontrager Race Disc wheels
Jones XR tires
Manitou Minute Comp Air, 120mm travel
Fox RP3 out back
Shimano XTR derailleur
" LX shifters and front derailleur
Bontrager Race GXP crank
Juicy 5's 'hydro's

and very sadly, the old beast:

I've always been into modifying things, mostly automobiles. I own and operate a performance and repair shop, so its basicly my life! :P

Now that I have this new bike.... I hate to say it.. b/c its 'new', but I want to MOD it!! So this site popped up and I figured it would be good to hop on board and get learning!!
