ofcourse your bike is lighter - get lighter every time you descend by loose materiale on the rims
Hope you don't descent too fast so you can't stop your bike with those v-brakes hehe!!!
I joke Mad...
Instead you are evil...
Hey Mads!

Not bad at all,but i think that Mads wants to beat a rideable bike. One that hasn't for example an alu cassette and Tiso r.d.But the Sewanee is damned light! But let's stay with HT's.Don't compare apples with pears!

is it a mtb? sounds like almost a roadbike with that gearing
but it's a beautifull lightweight build Thorsten has made!

I have had the KMC chain all along - new tubes: Continental Supersonic tubes: 93 grams + 94,5 grams.

I could see to your Tune QR that you've been doing something with your wheel, but of course, nobody can see that you just changed the innertubes!
Keep tuning that bike!
I think that this topic is intriguing me!

Thanks Joe
Today I might change the Ritchey WCS OS alu bar/New Ultimate stem with my Easton EC90 bar (still waiting for the schmolke - maybe it will arrive in october if I'm lucky) and Syntace F99 stem with ti-bolts. Should save about 60 grams.
Damn - just came home from our clubride because I've got a beestick (is that the word?) on the eyelet! Feels a bit strange

They work allright - not the same stopping power as "normal" steel rotors but they work and stop the bike!
New update - 7,85 kg (changed the Ritchey WCS OS handlebar and New Ultimate OS stem for a Easton EC90 handlebar and Syntace F99 stem with ti-bolts).
Pictures will soon come

the steerertube hasn't been fitted yet because I haven't really decided on how many spacers I want below the stem! The shorter steerertube will ofcourse offer some free weightsavings which I'm looking forward to
