hey, my new cross frame finally arrived, courtesy of Mike DeSalvo, after 7 months wait... (well worth it). I'm all legs so given I wanted Ti I went for the custom option. The build quality is lovely, and that metal headbadge bolted on is a nice touch. It's not stunningly light at 1600gr (inc the bolts, canti-posts and seatclamp/hangar) but it's going to be used for a lot more off-road than just racing.
Build is going to be functional rather than bling, using some parts already used on my previous bike... Reynolds Ouzo cross fork, CK headset, Paul Neo Retro cantis, Record ergos, centaur front and rear mechs, RaceFace Cadence chainset, Open Pro/Centaur wheel build. Bars and stem will be Nitto. Of course I have no doubt that it will get upgraded over time but I tend to hammer off-road so an affordable build makes sense.
New custom Ti 'cross frame...
