@Captain Wilier - First I wet sanded the clearcoat and decals off with 400 grit sand paper. The clear coat is pretty thin on these. And while I was at it I took a grinder to the "lawyer tabs". Then we sprayed the DP90LF on there (2 light coats). There was a bit of what we call orange peel so I wet sanded it with 1000 grit and then buffed it with a dual action mini buffer to give it a not quite glossy finish.

Pedals? Well christmas is just around the corner :wink:

@STARNUT - I'm a tall skinny dude 6'2" with weight ranging between 145-155lbs typically. It's a 60cm with a 120mm stem.

ELS?

it's looking very good, the zero-gravity 'industrial look' really goes with the frame.

DrJ, the fork looks awesome! A set of Zero Gravity or just a black brakeset would complete the look. Of course Campy Record wouldn't hurt either! 8)

So I sold my old frame on Ebay to a guy in Norway and look what he did with it. He put Campy on it :shock:

Was a pretty good story. A friend of his was in a bad accident with a car when he was out riding. He woke up on his hospital bed and his first words were, "I guess I need a new bike." So the guy I sold it to and some of his other riding mates got together and built a bike up for him with my frame and some other bits they got together. Looks pretty good IMHO.

@bwc - I did the best I could. He was the high bidder on my ebay auction and I shipped the frame as cheap as I could.

FYI - A normal sized frame box is way too big to meet USPS international guidelines. I had to get really creative.

USPS has got to be the cheapest way to ship something that size also. UPS wanted $300 (about the same price as the frame). USPS did it for $65 insured!

Yeah I've thought about that. I just don't know whether I want to go the Keo route or just skip Look all together and get some Speedplay Zero's.
