It was once a Cannondale F400, now the only original components on it are the frame, fork and stem
It weighs *just* under 10kg with the USE suspension seatpost...I suppose I could shave a nice bit of weight off with a carbon or Ti one, but I don't think my weedy back would like it!

Oh, I have a Santa Cruz Bullit as well, but there is no way that could be described as a light bike...

This is my latest. It is a titanium softtail and was built to last. The seatpost and saddle are for the moment Race Face XY0 and Flite TT, and I'm still waiting for the Titanum Chris King headset.

Here is mine: It's almost the same exept the wheels and tires, wheels are FSA XC-300 and tires are Continental Explorer with Stan No-Tubes kit. Also, my stem is a lot lower than that and the frame is smaller.

no material but Composite for me ! and disc brakes, at least.

- 'expandeur' for my world cup fork Bruneti Carbon (18 grs) ;
- seatclamp Extralite The Clamp (12 grs) ;
- continental twister SS tyres (330 - 331 grs).

updated weight : 8,630 kgs.

changes in developping (in september I hope) :
- saddle SLR Carbonio (-36 grs) ;
- Ti bolts for disc rotors (-15 grs) ;
- Dura Ace cassette 11/27 (-60 grs) ;
- Marta SL disc brakes (-80 grs).

estimated future weight : 8,430 kgs.

any suggestion ? I precise that I want to ride in disc brakes. not interested in VB !

yes, mono mini powered ! not the lightest, but I was interested in testing these... the Hope Sales Manager affirmed to me that Hope was now developping a new Mono Mini light for 2005. they probably save 80 grams on the pair, its means a little lighter than Marta SL. I try to sell my Mono Mini pair in order to buy and test Marta SL.
