Although I wander around on this forum for some years now (more than three years as a regular guest, almost two years as a member), I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Ernst and I am 28 years old. I am working as an attorney at law in Rotterdam, mainly involved in maritime law. I live in Leiden, together with my girlfriend, who - I must confess - has a lovely Bianchi racer (size 44 cm...). Unfortunately, she cant race for at least four month since she has to recover from a car accident we had two weeks ago in Ghana. She broke her hip...

Check my bike at light-bikes.com, although the picture is outdated, but recent pics I sent are not published for some reason, dont know why...

Way to abuse my bike: I like to race beachraces, like the Rabo Strandrace (check the photo of the Rabo Strandrace), or the Beachclassic, which is a solid 60 km hammering over the beach...!

Although I cycled from Maastricht to Barcelona for fun (1900 km in 13 days), my next goal will be riding the Friendship Highway, which runs from Llasa, Tibet to Katmandu, Nepal. That is 1200 km in 14 days, including cycling/walking the Everest glacier and camping at Mt. Everest Base Camp (5300 m; mmm, interested in my hematocrit when I return...). Should you want to join me, visit www.conijnreizen.nl for more info.

Regards!
