Hi all,

I’ve been away from cycling except occasional trainer sessions for some time now. But last weekend I picked my new frameset in Bergamo to replace my broken C60. Hopefully I’ll build it this weekend and find motivation to start riding again.

Build will include Campy SR and Bora One 50 tubulars. I’ll post full build list once it’s done. Expecting a nice 7.5 kg for this one.

Very nice. Was considering a stelbel in campari red with gold lettering with chorus, ccu tubs or bora clinchers myself but was wondering about a few things:

- Can they do internal cable routing on the antenore like the sb03? I really like the sb03 internal routing apart from the bb cable loops, so ideally it would be completely internal.
- Other than stainless, what are the weight and ride differences between the different frame models?
- what B.B. shell did you choose? Why?
- Are you planning a painted stem, bars, post?
- is the pmp ti post in the pictures good? What's the weight?

Thank you guys.

mrfish;

I've seen my friend's Campari Red SB/03 in flesh and I can say it's stunning. I'm sure it will look good on Antenore as well.

- They have a full custom program and I'm sure that they can do whatever you want. Just send them an e-mail with all your specs and Andrea will sort it out for you.
- They had a list of all their frame weights but I can't remember them all now. Antenore should be somewhere around 1750 gr for the frame. I didn't ride them all, only had a short ride with SB/03. I've been told Antenore is the stiffest of all.
- BB shell is BSA which is standard. As we all know it's probably the best one with no headaches. Maybe they can do a T47 if you wish.
- I only got painted stem. I think painted bars and post are too much.
- I got that Ti post too but I can't comment if it's good as I had no rides yet. But the clamping mechanism is nice and easy, finish looks good. Weight is 225 gr. I went for the Ti post because I think it compliments bare rear end of the frame as it's almost the same color and a carbon seatpost looks just out of place.

Welds are nice. Very smooth as they are shaved. Headtube is 190mm.

Congrats. This bike is so beautifu, a true timeless classic!
I really like the understated graphics, so much nicer then all thos bikes with 'loud' brand names on them.

Tell us about the ride qualities as soon as you have ridden the bike.

I'm following Gokhankutluer on Instagram, he has a Stelbel with Campa SR and Bora 50 as well.

Beautiful bike. I cannot wait to see the finished product. A stelbel sb/03 is next on my build list. What size is you frame?

Thanks guys. Build is almost finished though I didn't take any build pictures. I'm not that patient anymore. Finished bike pics will be posted as soon as I have some.

Roel W, Gokhan is an old friend of mine and I was with him in Bergamo last weekend. Actually he works in Stelbel. :) I visited Cicli Corsa to pick up my frameset. They are all top notch guys.

Seedster, here's the geometry:

It's almost the same as my Amaro but with some slight changes.

Love the fact that you‘ve ditched the current 4 arm crankset and went with the absolutely gorgeous Super Record 5 arm Crank. Maybe I would think about a seatpost with more setback, other than that super nice build!
