These bars are definitely Shimano only bars. Find me some Rotundos or Zero 100 Shallows for $40 bucks and I'll pick em up to replace these.

i enjoy the neoclassics but they are definately strange bars. set the hoods u
too high and the brake levers will start pointing outwards...

but i think your bar setup is alright. nothing wrong with that angle

FWIW I've been able to set up my neo-classics just fine with the flat part of the drops parallel to the ground (the proper angle) and shifters roughly parallel to the flat part of the drops (also the proper angle). They're shimano 5700 levers though, I don't know how campy would fit, hopefully okay though as that's my planned upgrade.

Really like this version - wheelset, gumwalls, and cages are all nice changes IMO. Are you sticking with DA, or is this just a trial?

looks awesome, but - why the outer cable housing all along the top tube?

Full rear cable housing - that's just the way it is on the C40 (and my C50 as well).

@dudemanppl,
Very nice, well done man!

Mind sharing the difference in the ride quality on the C40 vs your other rides (e.g Merckx Team Sc, Colnago EP etc)? Pros and cons?

Cheers

Honestly didn't ride either of those bikes enough to get any sort of opinion on them. Haven't ridden this one enough either.

He's more about the gram than riding.

Tommy is trying to catch up to Bianchi10 in the most important KPI of all: Selfies per Mile. He currently is in a distant second place (13.21) due to Nick Arend's PNS ambassadorship, (a whopping 25.2!!) however, he has been putting in work as of late and it will be interesting to see if he can catch up!
