So after riding my caad10 during last winter, I decided to buy a dedicated winter bike with fenders this year. I found a very good deal on ebay so I ended up with a Focus Paralane Ultegra bike. I did a few modifications, but currently it's mostly stock.
Weights 8.5kg (18.7 lbs) as shown, with fenders, pedals, garmin mount. Detailed specs below the picture. Given that I used quite heavy parts, I think it's a respectable weight. It can easily go down under 8kg with fenders, power meter and 25mm tires.
I only did a super short test ride and the most striking thing about this bike is the extremely tall headtube. It also felt like a little bit of a tank after my supersix, but in this case I think it's a good thing.

GREAT bike for the rain & the winter!
I also was looking at the Focus Paralane for my rain/ winter bike but I wanted to have a geometry similar to my road bike and went for a BMC Roadmachine 02 with the low head cone and a slammed stem (http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=148608 . I also have some fender mounts and it is just awesome to ride with full fenders/ mudguards.
